I’m always intrigued to watch Pixar or DreamWorks breathe life into inanimate objects. With that as inspiration, I started sketching faces on my coffee cups each morning. I don’t remember where the initial idea for this simple tale came from. But once I started the images seemed so obvious that it feels like it created itself.
