Projection Mapping still Image

Projection Mapping Test

When I discovered projection mapping this past summer, I just had to try it. So I designed a simple graphic in Adobe Illustrator. The black outlines in the design were cut out of black vinyl and applied to foamcore. The color portions of the design were imported into Adobe After Effects and animated. My knowledge of After Effects is over 10 years old. So it was a bit challenging figuring out how to do a basic animation(Thank you, Youtube tutorials). I bought a cheap projector off Craigslist and output the After Effects file onto a jump drive. Not bad results for having a lot of gaps in my knowledge.
